Description

The traditional English dessert is usually anything but vegan. But just a few changes and you'll be amazed how easy it is to make this divine pudding all vegan. Summer is of course the best time for a typical Eton Mess, when all the fresh berries are harvested.
The recipe contains some alcohol. If you don't consume alcohol or cook for kids - just skip this, it's not that important (just adds a bit of taste).

Would you like a sweet dessert that is not unhealthy but tasty nonetheless? OK - I'm not pretending this is diet food. But it's far healthier than any dairy dessert. Easy to prepare in cups to spoon - or in a large bowl for your next party. It stays in the refrigerator for at least 3 days.
You get the creamy praline filling with coconut cream. You can usually find canned coconut cream on the Asian shelves of your supermarket. The cream is divided into a white and sticky part and a watery part. For this recipe we only need the white part. The easiest way is to open the can upside down. You can pour the watery part and add the white pieces to your bowl.

Sweet, but still light and summery. These chocolates are super easy to prepare and can be stored in the refrigerator for a few days. Great little treats for a snack, to offer your guests with a cup of tea or as a present for the host of your next party.
Many variations are possible. You can dip the pralines in melted vegan chocolate and cover with a little coconut, for example. And if you're a marzipan lover like me, just reduce the amount of coconut and increase the amount of marzipan in the recipe. It then tastes more like a marzipan potato (the German sweet for Christmas) with a hint of coconut. I love this variant!
This no-bake recipe makes a whole bowl of chocolates (at least 20 depending on the size you're making them in).
